Eric Block

Eric Block is a strategist, writer, facilitator, and problem solver with over 20 years of experience in strategic and creative social purpose work at the intersection of communication and organizational strategy. They currently serve as the Communications & Marketing Director at Columbia Riverkeeper, focusing on protecting and restoring the Columbia River's water quality. Eric has previously held various positions at Mercy Corps and Metropolitan Group, where they contributed to initiatives in environmental and cultural sectors, collaborating with numerous nonprofits, foundations, and public agencies. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota.
