Dan Singleton

Video Assistant Coach at Columbus Blue Jackets

Dan Singleton joined the Blue Jackets in September 2000 as video coordinator and was named video assistant coach in June 2011. He came to Columbus after spending the previous six years as the video coordinator for the Michigan State University hockey team.

Born in Boulder, Colorado, he grew up in Ottawa, Ontario and attended McGill University in Montreal, earning a bachelor's degree in physical education in 1994. He then went to Michigan State, where he earned a master's degree in sports psychology in 1998.

Singleton and his wife, Karin, are parents of sons, Braeden and Ewan, and daughter, Claire.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are a professional ice hockey team (NHL) based in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The Blue Jackets'​ name and logos were inspired by Ohio's Civil War history and they play their home games at Nationwide Arena in downtown Columbus, which opened in 2000.
