Michael Silva

Michael Silva is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, and strategic leadership across various industries. Currently, Silva serves as a member of the Bretton Woods Committee and an advisory board member at Ridgeview Digital, in addition to holding the position of Lead Independent Director at Column. Previously, Silva held senior compliance roles at UBS and was a partner at DLA Piper, specializing in financial services regulatory matters. Silva's background includes serving as a Global Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Leader at GE Capital and a Senior Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where responsibilities ranged from overseeing systemic risk management to advising on international regulatory issues. An alumnus of Columbia Law School, Silva also studied at the United States Naval Academy and currently participates in executive education at Harvard Business School. Silva's military experience includes serving as a Lieutenant in the US Navy.
