Selina Renfrow has a diverse work experience beginning in 2007 as an Editorial Assistant for The Calgary Herald. In 2008, they became a Columnist for The Reflector, followed by a Communications Assistant role at the Calgary Counselling Centre in 2009. In 2010, they took on an Editorial Intern role at RedPoint Media for Avenue magazine, and in 2011 they were a Producer/Showrunner for Shaw Communications' Calgary Now TV talk show. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Program Facilitator at Momentum and in 2021 they were a Customer Advocate (Customer Success) at Helm | Cash Flow App. Currently, they are a Customer Support Associate at Column and a Bookkeeper at Twenty Eighty.

Selina Renfrow attended Mount Royal University from 2005 to 2010, where they earned an Applied Bachelor of Communications in Journalism. In 2020 and 2021, they attended Bow Valley College and earned a Certificate in Business Administration and Management.
