Chi Zhang

Chi Zhang is a Deputy Director of AI Innovation at COMAC, where they lead the integration of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies in commercial aviation. With 10 years of research experience in speech signal processing and 8 years in industry projects, Chi has contributed to high-volume language skill analysis and robust speech recognition systems. They hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, where they focused on robust speech processing, and have developed specialized AI models for aviation applications. Prior to their current role, Chi held positions at Appen, CARNEGIE SPEECH, LLC, and Midea Emerging Technology Co. Ltd., showcasing a strong background in both research and engineering.
