Tom Needham

Tom Needham is the Head of the Biopharmaceuticals practice at Broadview Ventures, managing the firm's biotechnology investment strategy and activity. They also serve as the Managing Director of Longview Ventures, focusing on clinical-stage opportunities. With over 30 years of experience in venture capital, business development, and corporate strategy, Tom has held various roles, including Chief Business Officer at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals and Managing Director at Synthesis Capital. They currently sit on multiple boards, including IsomAb and Basking Biosciences, contributing extensive expertise in the life sciences sector. Tom holds a B.A. from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
