Jeff Chen

Jeff Chen is currently the Head of AI at Combient, where they are building the Combient AI Center to enhance AI capabilities across a network of companies. With a strong background in machine learning and data science, they have previously held roles such as Chief Innovation Officer at the Bureau of Economic Analysis and Chief Data Scientist at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Jeff's diverse experience includes leading intelligent energy product initiatives at Aira and serving as a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow at NASA, contributing to the President's Climate Data Initiative. They are also pursuing a PhD in computational statistics and machine learning at the University of Oxford and have co-authored a data science textbook published by Springer Nature.
