Håkan Persson

Håkan Persson has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Håkan began their career as a Mathematics Tutor at Individuell Kunskapsutveckling AB in 2007. Håkan then worked as a Forestry Worker at Örn Skog and Näslunds Friplant from 2002 to 2007, where they eventually became a Foreman.

In 2007, Håkan joined Umeå universitet as a Teaching Assistant, where they engaged in outreach activities and provided math tutoring to beginner students. Håkan also served as a Student Ambassador at Umeå universitet from 2007 to 2009. During their time at the university, they pursued their PhD in Mathematics and completed it in 2012, conducting research and teaching mathematics. Håkan took on additional responsibilities as a Programme Co-ordinator for the Bachelor of Science in Physics and Applied Mathematics, ensuring quality control and program development. Håkan was also the contact person for students and future employers.

From 2012 to 2016, Håkan worked at Uppsala University, Department of Mathematics, as a Senior Lecturer. In this role, they were responsible for course directorship, course administration, planning and preparation of lectures, as well as lecturing in lecture halls and providing tuition in small groups.

In 2017, Håkan joined Combient AB as a Data Scientist, where they contributed to data analysis and processing. Håkan later transitioned to the role of Senior Data Scientist at Combient Mix in 2019, where they continue to apply their expertise in data science.
