Brooke West

Brooke West has over 18 years of diverse work experience. Brooke is currently serving as the Senior Director of Litigation and Dispute Resolution at Comcare since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate/Adviser at Ai Group Workplace Lawyers from September 2022 to November 2023. Brooke also served as a Senior Associate at McInnes Wilson Lawyers from August 2021 to September 2022.

From June 2018 to August 2021, Brooke worked as a Senior Lawyer at The Fair Work Ombudsman. Brooke also worked as a Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions from March 2017 to May 2018.

Furthermore, they gained experience as a Senior Government Lawyer at the Australian Government Department of Employment from February 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Director at the same department, where they oversaw policy development in various areas and developed the guide to Good Practice in Job Services Australia.

Brooke West's work experience also includes serving as an Appeals Officer at the Department of Infrastructure and Transport from August 2010 to September 2011, and in various roles at the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations from August 2005 to April 2008.

Brooke West obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Canberra in the period of 2008 to 2015. In 2015 to 2016, they attended The College of Law Australia and completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
