Brian Albert currently serves as Vice President of Data Platform Engineering at Comcast since August 2011, leading a team of over 300 individuals to develop the “Big Data as a Service” platform. Previous roles at Comcast include Senior Director of Data Experience, where significant contributions to enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence strategies were made. Prior to Comcast, Brian held various leadership positions at Barclaycard from May 2000 to September 2011, including Senior Director of Information Management. Early career experience includes roles at MBNA and extensive expertise in database management and development. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware, completed in 1995.
