Chris Luke is a Sr. Principal Engineer and Network Automation Architect at Comcast, where they have led the architecture and implementation of programmable behaviors in the network since 2011. Currently, Chris develops frameworks for network automation and mentors network engineers in software-driven practices. They are also the Chairperson of the OpenDaylight Advisory Group and a committer/reviewer on the FD.io VPP fast data-plane project. Prior to Comcast, Chris built global multi-service IP networks, contributed to the Linux and FreeBSD kernels, and supported open-source routing projects. Chris graduated with a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Kent.
