Chris Smith

Chris Smith currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources at Comcast, a role held since September 2019. Prior to this, Chris was the Vice President of Human Resources at NiSource for a decade and also held the position of Human Resources Director for the Northern Indiana Public Service Company Business Unit, overseeing HR functions for over 2,500 employees. Earlier in Chris's career, at PepsiCo, the role of Human Resources Director encompassed the development and implementation of HR strategies across 1,500 employees in both unionized and non-union environments, as well as serving as Human Resources Manager for a unionized distribution facility. Chris began in human resources at Bristol-Myers Squibb as an Associate HR Manager. Educational background includes an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
