Douglas Weiss

Douglas A Weiss serves as Vice President of Corporate Development for Comcast Corporation. In this role, Doug helps develop Comcast’s corporate strategy through the execution of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments. He was involved in the sale of Comcast’s A&E interest, the acquisition of NBCUniversal, Universal Studios Japan, and iControl, and the purchase of Blackstone’s interest in Universal Orlando.

Prior to joining Comcast, Doug restructured bankrupt companies and evaluated distressed acquisition opportunities while at FTI Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Doug received his B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Franklin and Marshall College and his MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Doug serves on the board of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the National MS Society. He resides in Upper Dublin, PA with his wife and their three children.
