Eric Hoopes

Eric Hoopes has an extensive background in database management and architecture, having worked in various roles across multiple leading organizations. They began their career as an Applications/System Programmer at American Republic Insurance from 1998 to 1999. They advanced to serve as Database Administrator and Team Lead at Principal Financial Group between 1999 and 2001, and later held positions as a Systems/Data Architect at First Data Corporation and as a Database Architect at IBM from 2006 to 2008. Eric spent a significant period at Comcast from 2010 to 2018, where they progressed through ranks to become Principal Architect, Distinguished Architect, and Senior Principal Architect. Eric also managed database administration at Farm Bureau from 2001 to 2004 and led database management efforts as Director at Computer Research, Inc. from 2004 to 2006.
