Joe Martin

Joe Martin is a technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and site reliability engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Comcast since January 2017, Joe is responsible for the technical leadership of a next-generation global OTT app delivery platform utilizing AWS, focusing on scalable microservices and Kubernetes-based deployments. Previously, Joe held the role of Principal Software Engineer in Site Reliability Engineering, where initiatives included transitioning microservices to AWS and enhancing cloud-based architecture for reliability and performance. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at SunGard, contributing to high-traffic platform services, and a Software Developer position at Sabre Systems Inc., where Joe developed data center management tools. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury University.
