Joel Swan

Joel Swan is a Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in embedded software and systems integrations across a variety of sectors. From 1992 to 1999, they served at Avid Technology, developing solutions for the television and film industry, including work on the Avid Media Composer. Their career included roles at RCA Automated Systems and Spyglass, where they focused on interactive television and mobile data markets. Most recently, Swan has been with Comcast, where they develop and architect embedded C code for Next Generation Access Networks. They hold multiple degrees in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Washington State University, and Boston University.
