John W. Smith

John W. Smith has extensive experience in the legal and labor relations fields, starting as a Summer Associate and later an Attorney at Dykema Gossett PLLC from September 1999 to December 2005. Following this, John served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the County of Wayne, Michigan, from January 2006 to August 2007. Transitioning to the private sector, John held the positions of Vice President of Labor Relations and later Senior Director of Labor and Employee Relations at Comcast from August 2007 to March 2011. John W. Smith earned a BA in English Language & Literature from the University of Michigan in 1996 and a JD Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1999.
