Karim Mahrous earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, between 2000 and 2006. They served as a Research Assistant at UC Davis from 1999 to 2006 and worked as a Software Engineer at Electronic Arts from 2006 to 2009. Karim held various roles at Sandia National Laboratories from 2009 to 2017, ultimately becoming R&D Staff. They later took on the position of Director at Splunk from 2021 to 2023 and currently serve as the Executive Director of Cybersecurity at Comcast.
