Lance West

Lance West is an experienced government affairs professional currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and Head of the Washington, DC office at Comcast since September 2024. Prior to this role, Lance was the Vice President of Federal Government Relations at the American Petroleum Institute from February 2023 to September 2024. Between September 2019 and February 2023, Lance held the position of Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, III. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Staff Director for the Minority on the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources from January 2019 to September 2019, and as Director of Federal Government Affairs at the National Marine Manufacturers Association from March 2018 to January 2019. Lance holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Marshall University.
