Philip Zimich

Philip Zimich is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the field of machine learning and software development. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Machine Learning at Comcast since February 2013, Philip leads the Content Discovery organization, focusing on voice-enabled search, discovery, and personalized recommendations for various entertainment platforms. Prior roles at Comcast include Senior Director positions overseeing both the Content Discovery organization and the Premium Video Core Services organization, where Philip managed large teams and crucial services for the X1 and Flex platforms. Previously, Philip held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin from November 2007 to February 2013. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Penn State University.
