Sima Taheri

Sima Taheri is a Senior Principal Scientist in AI/ML at Comcast, where they lead the development of Agentic AI systems to enhance employee and customer experiences. With a PhD from the University of Maryland, College Park, Sima has extensive expertise in computer vision and machine learning, including robust face recognition and object tracking. They have also held positions at Digital Signal Corporation, ObjectVideo Labs, and Clarifai, contributing significantly to advancements in 3D face recognition and algorithm development. Prior to their current role, Sima completed internships at Kitware Inc. and Technicolor, focusing on algorithms for complex tasks such as multi-object tracking and video object segmentation.
