SVP, Heartland Region at Comcast

Tim Collins is Comcast’s Senior Vice President for the Heartland Region, based in Plymouth, MI. In this role, he is the top executive responsible for sales and marketing, operations, network development and customer service for 1.7 million customers in nearly 800 communities across Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Arkansas, as well as 3,700 employees throughout the region.

A 32-year veteran of the cable and telecommunications industries, Tim served most recently as Senior Vice President for Comcast’s East Division Business Services where he was responsible for the Division’s growth strategy serving the small and medium business and enterprise markets. With Comcast since 1995, Tim also served as Midwest Division Vice President of Advanced Services, Engineering, Technical Operations and Customer Care based in Michigan. In these roles, Tim was responsible for developing and deploying advanced services, including high speed internet, digital video, and IP-based telephony services.

Prior to joining Comcast, Tim was a partner at Detroit’s Hill Lewis Law Firm (now Clark Hill, PLC), practicing telecommunications and business law. Tim holds a Juris Doctor, from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He is a Board member of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and Business Leaders for Michigan.
