Vaibhav Phatarpekar is a Principal Software Development Engineer at Comcast since October 2018, where responsibilities include designing traffic load balancing algorithms for the network and architecting a distributed system for data aggregation using Kafka and Redis. Prior to this, Vaibhav served as a Senior Test Engineer at VT iDirect from June 2011 to December 2016, contributing to the design and execution of test strategies for new features and leading project planning and resource management for testing initiatives. Vaibhav holds a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, Vaibhav has pursued further education through Coursera.
