Xin Huang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of networking and software-defined networking (SDN). Currently serving as a Principal Engineer II at Comcast since May 2015, Xin leads the architecture team for the SDWAN product focused on enterprise customers, overseeing proof of concept (POC), system design, integration, and test automation. Previous roles include Technologist at Cyan (acquired by Ciena), where Xin worked on SDWAN orchestration system development and POC, and a Senior Research Scientist at Deutsche Telekom R&D Lab USA, focusing on Openflow/SDN technologies. Additional experience includes contributions as a co-organizer at BANV and a summer internship at Cisco, developing Openflow-based network monitoring systems. Xin holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
