Richard Abelson, MBA, CPA, has held various leadership roles in finance since 1998 at Comdata, most recently as Senior Vice President of Finance. Key contributions include developing financial models for product launches, introducing standard pricing models, and enhancing overall efficiency in sales processes. Abelson led a project that significantly reduced the company’s exposure related to a merchant settlement agreement and successfully generated over $3 million in new annual revenue through contract improvements. Earlier roles included Vice President of Business Performance and Vice President of Strategic Analysis, where responsibilities encompassed M&A process management, product pricing, budgeting, and KPI reporting.
