Jeremy Forkgen

Jeremy Forkgen has over 25 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. From 1994 to 1998, they worked as a Client-Server Development Consultant for SPL WorldGroup Australia, and then as a Senior Software Design Engineer for Alcatel from 1998 to 1999. Jeremy then moved to Macquarie Bank from 1996 to 2002, first as a Technical Specialist (PowerBuilder) for the Development Infrastructure Group, and then as a Developer for the Funds Management Group. In 2003, they joined Commonwealth Bank, where they held three different roles: Executive Manager, Service Design (CBM); Stream Lead Model Driven Engineering, SOA Enterprise Platform; and Executive Manager Integration Solutions & Service Design. In 2014, they took an extended break before becoming Available to Discuss New Opportunities in 2015. In the same year, they also worked as an Integration Consultant for Fusion Factory Australia. Finally, they are currently working as a Support Manager for Comestri since 2016.

Jeremy Forkgen completed a Bachelor of IT from Charles Sturt University between 1993 and 1996, majoring in IT. Prior to this, they obtained an Advanced Certificate of Management from the Sydney Institute of Technology between 1991 and 1993, majoring in Management. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: In-Memory Data Management - Implications on Enterprise Systems from openHPI in October 2014, and AWS Solution Architect (Associate) from Amazon Web Services in November 2014.
