Andrew Firestone is an experienced Application & Product Specialist at COMET since June 2022, focusing on testing prebiotic fibers in various food and beverage applications, including gummies, baked goods, and ready-to-drink coffee. Responsibilities encompass collaborating with third-party labs for shelf-life testing, providing formulation recommendations to customers, and sharing technical expertise at conferences. Previously, Andrew served as a Research Design & Implementation Intern at TreeHouse Foods, where product development involved ready-to-drink coffee and plant-based items. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
