Melissa Ordway

Melissa Ordway has a diverse work experience spanning various finance and strategy roles. Melissa is currently serving as the Vice President Finance at CometChat. Prior to this, they worked at Angi, where they held the position of Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis from January 2020 to November 2021. Melissa also served as the Sr. Director, Financial Planning & Analysis from November 2017 to January 2020 at the same company. Before joining Angi, Melissa worked at HomeAdvisor, where they held positions such as Director, Finance Operations and Marketing Analytics from March 2017 to November 2017, and Sr. Manager, Strategy and Finance from August 2016 to March 2017. Melissa also worked in Financial Planning & Analysis/Corporate Strategy from January 2013 to August 2016 at HomeAdvisor. Melissa began their career at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a Financial Institution Specialist, where they assessed financial institutions and ensured compliance with regulations from August 2012 to June 2013. Prior to that, they served as a Financial Management Scholar at FDIC from May 2011 to August 2012. Melissa's early work experience includes a role as a Marketing Assistant at Colorado College from October 2009 to May 2011.

Melissa Ordway holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Political Economy and Anthropology from Colorado College. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Business Contracts from Cornell University in January 2023.
