Anja van den Borne

Anja van den Borne is an experienced professional in the fields of law and elder care, currently serving as Algemeen directeur at Long at Home Investments since January 2018 and at Comfor Zorg & Wonen since January 2019, where a mission is pursued to enhance the quality of life for the elderly. Anja founded Born Legal in 2014, providing legal expertise in procurement law and construction contracts until December 2020. Anja also contributed to the academic field as a lecturer in procurement law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2011 to 2020, while conducting PhD research on information exchange in complex project procurement. Anja’s previous roles include Director of Healthcare Investments at Holland Immo Group and Attorney at Law at HVG - Holland Van Gijzen Advocaten en Notarissen LLP, with a specialization in procurement and contract law. Anja’s educational background includes degrees from Tilburg University, Grotius Academie, and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
