COMFY FITNESS, INC is a health, wellness and fitness company based out of  CHICAGO, Illinois. 

Our approach is unique in the health & fitness arena because we work at the level of the nervous system through Somatic Movement practices. Somatic Movement practices benefit every system of the body by moving people out of chronic states of fight/flight/freeze. Research also shows that Somatic Movement creates up to an 86% reduction in chronic pain as well as easing symptoms of PTSD, making it a truly holistic approach for better mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Sedentary jobs have increased 83% since 1950, giving birth to the nearly invisible, modern lifestyle-illness known as Sitting Disease. Responsible for increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, cancer, obesity and shorter life span, Sitting Disease is a massive workplace liability going largely unaddressed.

When we combine modern-day chronic stress with the physical toll of a sedentary workplace, it’s no surprise that burnout rate is currently sitting around 60%. Furthermore, 83% of polled employees report feeling emotionally drained from their work. Why does this matter?
