Jan Effert has an extensive work experience with various roles in customer success, analytics, and legal fields. They are currently employed as the Director of Customer Success at Comgy since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Uberall as the Head of Customer Success DACH from January 2019 to October 2021, and as a Senior Customer Success Manager from March 2016 to December 2018. They also worked as a Customer Analytics Manager at Scout24 Group in 2015. In addition, they have experience in business and market intelligence and legal roles at eKomi - The Feedback Company from October 2012 to October 2014. Before transitioning to the customer success field, Jan worked as a freelance lawyer from October 2009 to September 2012. They also have trainee experience in various legal settings, including patent and trademark law, at Effert und Kollegen, European Patent and Trademark Attorneys; Kanzlei für Mediation – Prof. Gläßer und Prof. Kirchhoff; SCHULZ ECKERT & PARTNER; Stiftung Oper in Berlin; and Public Attorney's Office.
Jan Effert attended European-University Viadrina from 2000 to 2006, where they obtained a State Examination degree in Law. Continuing their educational journey, from 2007 to 2009, they attended KG Berlin, where they completed their Second State Examination in Law.
