Claus Lindner

Claus Lindner is the Manager of ML & Software Engineering at CoMind. Prior to joining CoMind, Claus worked as a Manager Advanced Data Analytics at KPMG España from May 2019 to February 2021. There, they were responsible for multi-modal platform development (NLP, Forecasting and Business Analytics), as well as cloud deployment for different client solutions/platforms (MS Azure, AWS). Claus also has experience with pushing the limits of AI/ML models, agile software development, and frequent client interaction.

Before working at KPMG, Claus was a Medical Physicist and Data Scientist at Quantium Medical from July 2016 to April 2019. There, they were involved in the design and development of new medical devices, as well as the development of digital signal processing algorithms. Additionally, Claus has experience with project and team management, device verification and testing, market certification, clinical study design, statistical data analysis, and physiological signal evaluation.

Claus began their career as a Research Assistant at ICFO in February 2012, where they worked for four years before becoming a Tutor at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München in October 2007.

Dr. Claus Lindner studied physics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees. Claus then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Optics from the ICFO - Institute of Photonic Sciences and UPC - Polytechnic University of Catalonia. In addition, Dr. Lindner holds a certification in GCP - Good Clinical Practice from the Fundación ESAME.

Claus Lindner reports to James Dacombe, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Morgan Lockyer - Operations Lead, Chu Wang - Manager, Hardware Engineering, and William Parker - Staff Scientist & IP Lead.
