Ashoat Tevosyan

Ashoat Tevosyan is the founder of Comm Technologies. Prior to starting their own company, they worked as an engineering manager at Facebook from December 2011 to April 2016. There, they led a team of four engineers working on the Public Conversations team. The team focused on comment ranking and the product experience around large comment threads. Ashoat also had a dual role leading both engineering and product iteration with a cross-functional team of ten folks.

Before working at Facebook, Tevosyan was a college developer intern at Microsoft from June 2010 to September 2010. There, they worked at Microsoft's Office Labs team on OfficeTalk, an enterprise microblogging project. Ashoat wrote a mobile site for OfficeTalk in ASP.NET MVC 2 and jQuery together with a web designer. Ashoat also learned Objective-C and built an iPhone app for OfficeTalk nearly from scratch within five weeks. The app could support multiple asynchronous data requests and picture uploading. Ashoat also spent a week working on a web application that helped Microsoft employees find carpools.

Tevosyan began their internship career at Microsoft as a high school tester intern from June 2008 to September 2008. The following year, they became a high school developer intern from June 2009 to September 2009.
