Senior Security Researcher at Command Zero

Natalie Dean has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and research. Natalie is currently working as a Security Researcher at Command Zero. Prior to this, they worked as a Security Research Engineer at Cisco Talos Intelligence Group and Cisco. Natalie also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Calgary where they developed a tool for reverse engineering. Before this, they completed their M.Sc. and served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Victoria. Natalie also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and completed an Honours Thesis during their time at the University of Victoria.

Natalie Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Honors from the University of Victoria, obtained between 2010 and 2014. Natalie later pursued a Master of Science in Chemistry from the same university between 2015 and 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Natalie attended the University of Calgary, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Information Security. Additionally, Natalie holds several certifications in the field of computer science, including GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner, GREM, Windows Kernel Rootkit Techniques, and Cisco Certified Interviewer.
