Tyler Field

Tyler Field is currently employed as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Command Zero since February 2022. Tyler previously worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Cisco from March 2019 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Development Operations Engineer at VEERUM from August 2018 to March 2019 and an IT Infrastructure Lead at the same company from July 2017 to June 2018. Before that, Tyler worked as Dev/Ops at Osprey Informatics from October 2014 to June 2016, Linux Developer at SAIT Polytechnic from October 2013 to September 2014, and held various roles at SMART Technologies from August 2012 to September 2013. Tyler's earliest work experience dates back to June 2009 when they worked as a Technical Support Representative at Shaw Communications, moving on to become a Security Coordinator at the same company from September 2011 to August 2012.

Tyler Field has a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Calgary, which was obtained from 1996 to 2001. Tyler also has a Master of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the same university, which was completed from 2001 to 2003. Tyler completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from Queen's University Belfast from 2004 to 2007. In 2012, Tyler attended Southern Alberta Institute of Technology but did not complete any degree. Tyler also took several online courses from Coursera, such as Learn to Program: The Fundamentals in 2012, Introduction to Data Science in 2013, R Programming in 2014, and Getting and Cleaning Data in 2014, to name a few.
