Shane Smith

Shane Smith is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Community Bank President at Commerce Bank since August 2008, Shane has previously held positions such as Senior Vice President - Commercial Team Leader and Vice President - Business Banking Relationship Manager within the same institution. Prior to Commerce Bank, Shane gained valuable experience at JPMorgan Chase as a Personal & Small Business Banker and worked as a Registered Representative for John Hancock Life Insurance Company, specializing in long-term care insurance. Additionally, Shane was involved with the First Tiger Investment Club from 2009 to 2016, where leadership included a term as Club President in 2014. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Fort Hays State University and graduation from the Leadership Hays program in 2015.
