Tom Shaffer

Tom Shaffer has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as a Senior Strategist at Commerce Bank since 2001. During this tenure, Tom has held multiple roles including Manager of Direct Consumer Lending, Loss Containment Manager, Bankcard Security Manager, and Manager of Project Management. Prior to joining Commerce Bank, Tom worked at First American Financial Corporation as a National Account Manager from 1994 to 2001. Tom holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an MBA from Baker University. Additionally, Tom is an Honors Graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association's Executive Banking School, attended from 2015 to 2017.
