Ashima J. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In their most recent position, they serve as the Regional Director for EMEA at Commerce Layer starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Contentful, where they held two positions. Firstly, they were a Senior Account Executive for EMEA & APAC from June 2021 to August 2022. Secondly, they worked as an Enterprise Account Executive for the same regions from June 2020 to June 2021.

Before their time at Contentful, Ashima served as the Global Director of Sales at Ready Player Me from October 2019 to May 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Dynamic Yield, where they held the roles of Regional Sales Director for APAC & ANZ from February 2018 to October 2019, and Market Development Manager for APAC & MENA from January 2017 to April 2018.

Ashima also gained experience as a Sales Specialist for APAC & ANZ at Fitch Solutions from July 2016 to January 2017. Ashima began their career as the PR & Sponsorship Director at SMARKETING - SMU Marketing Society from March 2014 to April 2015.

Ashima J. has a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Singapore Management University. Their dual major was in Political Science and Marketing. Ashima also attended Stockholm University for a Fall Exchange program, where they studied Political Science and International Affairs as well as Business. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Technology Governance & Digital Transformation from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
