Darren Smith

Darren Smith is an experienced Murex Consultant currently with Commerzbank AG since October 2020, and also serves as Director at DabodeS, a property management firm focused on investments in the housing sector. Prior roles include positions at Aegon Asset Management and Standard Chartered Bank, where expertise in Murex platforms and financial management was honed. Significant experience at Credit Suisse involved Murex application development and support, while earlier roles included teaching English at Chulalongkorn University and working as a Development Chemist at Lakeland Laboratories. Darren holds a BSc in Chemistry and Molecular Physics from the University of Nottingham, complemented by A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Winstanley College.
