Florian Schroeder

Florian Schröder has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as Chapter Lead for Databases and Calculation, as well as Valuations and Market Risk Engineering Asia at Commerzbank AG since June 2010, where responsibilities include management of the Risk & Finance Engineering and Operations Team in the Asia region. Prior to this role, Florian held positions at Dresdner Kleinwort from February 2005 to May 2010, first as Information Technology Risk Manager overseeing local Risk Systems for Basel II adjustments, and then as Trading Software Developer focused on in-house bond trading software development using C++. Florian's educational background includes vocational training in Computer Science and Software Development from the Dresdner Bank Graduation Program and a Diploma of Vocational Studies in Software Development and Information Technology from ATIW IT Academy, both completed between 2002 and 2005.
