Mathew Ward

Mathew Ward is an experienced finance professional with a focus on loan origination and syndicated finance. Currently serving as the Head of Loan Origination for the UK and Americas at Commerzbank AG since November 2013, Mathew oversees syndicated loan activities and Structured Corporate Finance across regions. Previously, Mathew held roles such as Head of Syndicated Finance for the Americas at Commerzbank, Director at Lloyds Banking Group, Associate Director at KBC Peel Hunt, and Associate Director at Barclays Capital, contributing to significant leveraged finance transactions. Mathew began a finance career at ING Bank/ING Barings after completing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London.
