Michael Pirih

Michael Pirih, CFA, is currently the Director of Syndicated Finance and Sales at Commerzbank AG, specializing in syndication and sales for Schuldscheindarlehen and syndicated loans. Previously, they served as Vice President and Associate in Debt Capital Markets at Erste Group, where they focused on structuring bond instruments and implementing sustainable finance initiatives. Michael has extensive experience in risk management from their roles at VOLKSBANK WIEN AG and Österreichische Volksbanken AG. They hold multiple degrees in business administration from Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz and Jönköping International Business School, and they are also an industry mentor for students as part of the CFA Research Challenge.
