Currently serving as the Director and Senior Trader at Commerzbank AG, Roel is responsible for pricing, risk management, and market making for G10 FX Forwards and Rates. Previously, Roel held senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank, building and managing trading businesses across various markets while implementing innovative pricing models and regulatory compliance strategies. Roel earned a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore, graduating top of the class, after obtaining another Master of Science in Computing Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, graduating Cum Laude.
