Volker Gerth

Volker Gerth, CFA, possesses extensive experience in finance and investment management, spanning several leadership roles across prominent institutions. Gerth began as a Portfolio Manager at DIT Deutscher Investment-Trust from August 1995 to December 1997, followed by a notable tenure at Dresdner Bank from January 1997 to April 2009 as Managing Director and Divisional Head of Capital & Securitisation Methodology. Most recently, in October 2023, Gerth served as Chief of Staff in the CEO Office and Managing Director, Divisional Head of Capital & Risk Analytics at Commerzbank AG. Gerth holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from CFA Institute (2000-2002) and a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (1990-1995), along with participation in a trainee program at INSEAD in 1999.
