Mark Speer has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Mark currently holds the position of Vice President - Product Management & Carrier Relations at Commio Voice & Text Messaging, where they are responsible for delivering reliable voice and text messaging services to customers. Prior to this, they held the same position at thinQ by Commio.
Before joining Commio, Mark worked as a Carrier Relations and Direct Peering Consultant at their own company, Mark Speer. Mark also served as the General Manager - Interconnection Services at ANI Networks, where they focused on providing quality service to wholesale customers.
Mark's early career includes their role as the Manager - Carrier Relations at IntelePeer and Lead Offer Management Analyst and Lead Buyer at Lumen Technologies (formerly Qwest). Mark negotiated agreements and pricing with large system integrators and core network suppliers during their time at Lumen Technologies.
Furthermore, Mark has experience as an Independent Marketing Consultant for a Bulgarian wireless operator and a large asset liquidation firm specializing in telecommunications equipment post-bankruptcy. In addition, they served as the Marketing Director at Lumen Technologies (formerly Level 3).
Mark Speer studied at Colorado State University, where they obtained a BS BA degree in Finance. Prior to that, they attended Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, CO.
