Bogdan Ivănel

Bogdan Ivanel is an accomplished founder and CEO with extensive experience in civic technology, public international law, and international relations. As the founder and CEO of Commit Global since May 2022, Bogdan focuses on integrating digital tools to address critical global problems. Additionally, as founder and CEO of Code for Romania, Bogdan has led one of the largest Civic Tech organizations, developing over 45 solutions utilized by millions. Prior roles include managing Code for All, a worldwide civic tech network, and conducting research and lectures in public international law at prestigious institutions, including Sciences Po and UC Berkeley. Bogdan holds a PhD in Public International Law from Sciences Po and has diverse educational qualifications, including degrees from Utrecht University and the University of Oxford.
