Joe Ying

Joe Ying is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Development Team Lead and Senior Full Stack Engineer at Planworth since March 2020, Joe also holds the position of Engineering Partner at Commit. Previously, Joe was a Senior Frontend Developer and Team Lead at SEDNA Systems, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers. Joe co-founded Seedspace Social Ltd, providing a cloud-based chat service for online communities, and contributed significantly to Hootsuite as a Web Engineer, where the Hootsuite App Directory, an integration platform, was designed and built. Joe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, obtained in 2010.
