Amy Merhige

Amy Merhige has a significant amount of experience in user experience, product management, and web design. Amy is currently working as the Director of User Experience at Common App since October 2021. Prior to their current role, they held the position of Associate Director of User Experience at Common App from October 2016 to October 2021. Before joining Common App, Amy worked at Hobsons as the Director of Product Management from March 2014 to September 2016 and as a Product Manager from June 2007 to February 2014. Amy also has experience working at Wright State University as the Manager of Interactive Communications from 2005 to 2007 and as a Web Designer from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Amy worked at Diamond Bullet Design as an Interactive Designer from 2001 to 2002 and at Eviciti as an Interactive Designer from 2000 to 2001.

Amy Merhige earned a Graduate Certificate in Design Thinking from Cornell University in 2021. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from Ohio University.
