Emma Steele

Emma Steele has extensive experience in media and public relations, currently serving as the Director of Media & External Affairs at Common App since January 2019. Previously, Emma held various roles in public relations and communications within the U.S. House of Representatives as Press Secretary for Congresswoman Anna Eshoo and in the U.S. Senate as Deputy Press Secretary and Press Assistant for U.S. Senator Bob Casey. Emma's career started at the Villanova Institute for Global Interdisciplinary Studies as a Program Coordinator Assistant and included a research internship at Crisci Associates. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Villanova University.
