Nick Boober

Nick Boober has worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Common App since April 2020. In this role, they provide support to all Common Application departments and acts as Tier 3 support after the regular development season. Nick troubleshoots production issues, corrects errors, and documents them.

Prior to their current role, Nick worked as an IT/ Facilities Assistant at NOVAVAX INC from April 2016 to July 2019. In this position, they worked with IT and Blue Mountain to structure the UI for Blue Mountain Asset Management Software. Nick also wrote PQ test cases for testing Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager and assisted in planning and scheduling routine maintenance and calibrations on pharmaceutical equipment.

Nick Boober's education history includes attending the Flatiron School from 2019 to 2020, where they completed a Full-Stack Web Development Bootcamp. In the same year, they also attended Montgomery College for a Java Bootcamp, focusing on Web Development. In 2018, Nick pursued further education at Udacity, where they completed a Front-End Web Developer NanoDegree. Their undergraduate education took place from 2010 to 2015 at the University of Maryland, where they earned a Bachelor's degree.
